“Men of Change: Taking it to the Streets”
February - June, 2021
As most museums in America closed their doors during the pandemic, Anacostia Community Museum found creative ways to take the museum to the people. In the wake of George Floyd’s murder, I led the reinvention of a popular traveling exhibition about inspirational African American men and found a home for it in one of D.C.’s most historic Black neighborhoods. This effort had real impact and required building authentic trust at a critical time.
